The design
process can be straightforward, or it can be varied and
complex. However, many creative agencies haven't thought
the process through properly - or are still relying on
outdated practices because 'that's the way it has always
been done'.
Unfortunately 'that's the way it has always been done' is
the reason that many clients, particularly in the corporate
sector, have become disillusioned with graphic designers.
This is why, with over 8 years in the creative industry, we
have seen good and bad processes and have chosen the ones
that we feel work best.
We don't have account handlers. When we design your job, we
take on the whole project ourselves. When you deal with
DaFeng Town Designs, you deal with someone who covers all
bases – they have been a graphic designers for several
years, with project management, web development, print
production experience and with an understanding of
developing client briefs and getting the job done on time
and within the budget.
Moreover, we have learned that engaging with the client at
an early stage is crucial, so that there are no unexpected
surprises later on. Every client is different and so is
every job. If the client wants to work in a certain way, we
can adapt and a workable set of solutions developed. As
ever, a top class finished product – that fits the brief –
is the crucial goal.
